The relationship between the nodes and the Gateway allows the creation of a private WSN, enabling the transmission and reception of data collected through the SpiderMesh network. A SpiderMesh WSN is independent of existing infrastructure and requires no network configuration.

The Smart Gateway controls the entire wireless SpiderMesh cooperative by coordinating the wireless data being exchanged between the A-Links. Once the data received at the gateway, the data is uploaded to the cloud via WI-FI or a connection allowing remote access to all real-time and historical system data.
