Modbus Gateway

The Modbus Gateway allows you to interconnect all existing Smartrek A-Links to an IP network. It uses the standard Modbus TCP/IP protocol to read and write data, making it ideal for industrial or municipal organizations that already have SCADA systems in place. The first setup is done using a Wi-Fi access point to set the Ethernet IP address and to add A-Links.

All connected sensors have Modbus addresses for reading and/or writing data depending on the sensor selected. Since the sensors have multiple data variables, users must choose a specific Modbus address for each A-Link to be included. This address will be used for the first data variable, and all other variables will follow this address. For example, see below how a vacuum sensor can be read.
