Portable and easy to carry

GA-92XTd is optimized for locating buried ferrous utilities and provides users with audible and visual feedback for optimal locating performance. When not in use, GA-92XTd can be folded up and stored in the standard supplied case, and will be ready for action when you are ready.

Membrane switch for one-handed operation

GA-92XTd sports a membrane keypad, which provides excellent ruggedness and reliability to the control interface. The on/volume, off and gain buttons are all within easy reach of the user's thumb, facilitating one-finger operation of the user interface.

Handle battery replacement (no exposed electronics)

Schonstedt magnetic locators don't use a lot of battery power, but even when new batteries are required, it's quick and easy to change them...no tools, no mess, no waiting time.

Audible and visual output

Some users like to have visual feedback from the buried utilities they are looking for, others prefer an audible response. However, many users want to have the option, or even use both, depending on conditions. The GA-92XTd offers users audible and visual feedback, allowing users to spend more time locating and less time wishing their magnetic locator was set up differently.

Battery and sensitivity indicators

GA-92XTd users can see when the battery needs to be replaced, while the visible sensitivity indicator also allows them to set the magnetic locator exactly how they want it.

Signal strength and polarity indications

Our bar graphs help indicate the exact shape and location of the extremities of buried ferrous objects, helping to reduce false digs and false locates.

HeliFlux® Sensors

Schonstedt's unique and patented HeliFlux magnetic field sensors provide much greater sensitivity than the standard ring center sensors used by most of the competition, giving users of Schonstedt products a distinct advantage when searching for deep buried objects and when you want to indicate the exact shape of services.
