PROTEUS

Water Quality / Raw, Treated or Residual Water

The Proteus is the first scientifically proven sensor capable of real-time BOD measurement, with a wide range of applications from industrial to environmental, water treatment and quality. It allows for a fully configurable selection of parameters, all in one package, that can deliver data across more difficult field conditions.

Proteus has been designed with three fundamental premises: ease of use, data reliability and low operating cost.

Automatic cleaning: It is essential that optical sensors have a cleaning mechanism, the Proteus is also supplied with an integral wiper that cleans all sensors before each measurement cycle.
Virtually Maintenance Free – The system is completely field serviceable and requires almost no maintenance and is reagent free. Autonomous data recording, minimizing the use of labor and security problems.
Multiple Power Options – Power can be provided by an optional internal lithium battery pack for stand-alone logging, or by an external power source (battery, mains, or solar panel). External ON/OFF switch for login without PC connection required.
Monitoring of multiple parameters 24/7.
Simple and intuitive software.
Scalable: The patented and award-winning Proteus breaks the boundaries of water quality meters. It offers a single platform to add sensors based on required parameters.
Robust build quality, with stainless steel and Delrin outer shell.
Easy integration: Proteus can be effortlessly integrated with telemetry / SCADA systems and other data logging devices with external RS232 / Modbus / SDI12 or simply by using its internal data logger. The integrated data logger can record 1,000,000 readings and can be used with tablets / mobile phones.
Coliforms: The Proteus is the first instrument worldwide that has the potential to measure bacteria/coliforms in water in real time.
Status LEDs.
