SOFREL OpenSensor Low Power

Water distribution / Data Loggers
Softools, the configuration software for SOFREL data loggers, is responsible for configuring the Modbus devices connected to the data logger. Particularly easy to use, just a few clicks are enough to configure the interrogation periods, the management of sensor and radar power supply times and the definition of Modbus registers.

Through its RS-485 serial input, it offers openness and compatibility with all Modbus-RTU equipment (sensors, radar, flow meters) present in these networks.

With DL4W OpenSensor HP it is possible to power 0V, 12V and 20V (maximum 0.8W), control up to 8 devices and read 14 registers.

In addition, the data logger has 2 digital inputs (DI) to read the indexes of the sectorization or interconnection meters, manage "round trip" type meters and signal the opening of the manhole cover. Its analog input (AI) allows you to, among other things, power and control a 4-20 mA pressure sensor.
The Low Power model can provide a 0V neutral voltage compatible with flowmeters already powered by their own source, as well as low voltages of 5V and 12V, especially suitable for powering pressure or quality sensors. It is used above all for needs of remote reading of flowmeters or control of quality sensors:

·Remote reading of "large consumers" Customers and detection of consumption anomalies.
·Remote reading of interconnection meters and flow meters.
·Sectorization of the drinking water distribution network.
·Pressure measurement and service quality level.
·Monitoring of water quality indicators (pH, chlorine,   conductivity, etc.)
·Immediate alert in case of detection of contamination in the network.
