Thanks to its long-lasting internal battery, the LT-Radar data logger manages and supplies power to an FMR 20 (Endress Hauser) radar sensor. An external power supply can be used to allow the radar to make continuous measurements and the data logger to send the data (measurements, flow calculations, the number and duration of overflows…) in real time to the operating systems.
Easy to implement and equipped with an RJ45 connection for a Modbus link with the radar, SOFREL LT-Radar regularly acquires and transmits diagnostic information (signal quality, error code, etc.) from the radar. Sensor calibration is done directly and graphically from the SOFTOOLS software.
The Modbus protocol allows remote access to sensor status and diagnostic information to facilitate preventive maintenance in the field.
