The RD8200 range of locators and transmitters makes it easy to distinguish and track utilities on congested networks, near substations or power lines.

Current direction, trace the correct line

Identify your target among a series of parallel utilities by applying a dedicated DC signal from a Tx-10 transmitter. The DC arrows displayed on the locator confirm that you are drawing your target line.

Power Filters™ work where other locators don't

When a transmitter cannot be connected, tracing individual power lines through dense networks can be a real challenge. Contradictory or strong signals are confused or combined and create signal washout.
A single keystroke allows you to use the harmonic properties of power signals to establish whether a signal is coming from one source or multiple wires that you can then trace and mark.

Dynamic overload protection, rejects unwanted interference

Automatically filters out interference, allowing use in electrically noisy environments, such as near substations or overhead power lines.
