With TruDepth, Radiodetection's exclusive automatic depth measurement system, and the combined marker and service locating mode, marker locators provide faster and more accurate inspections.

Interaction with maps and geographic information systems (GIS) is made easy with internal GPS and convenient connectivity via Bluetooth and USB. The integrated GPS option allows customers to conveniently add position data to inspection measurements, without the need to carry additional equipment. All units feature Bluetooth to allow automatic transfer of measurements to an external device. RD8000 models offer easy retrieval of saved measurements via USB and export in common file formats such as KML for Google Earth.

Certain models offer usage monitoring, enhancing best practices and featuring proof of work with automatic data logging. Key locator parameters are saved every second to the unit's internal non-removable memory for retrieval and further analysis via the convenient and reliable USB connection and RD Manager, the marker locator range's PC application. GPS models also add the benefit of constant inspection locations.
