UV light train for curing CIPP liners in DN150-600 (6"-24") and egg-shaped pipes, with 8 x 600 W lamps, infrared temperature monitoring and 2 process cameras

The SK600 Light Train (Strahlerkette SK600) is an ultraviolet lamp train for curing trenchless rehabilitation liners, manufactured by Streicher Kanalsysteme GmbH, a German family-owned company based in Kressbronn on Lake Constance. With more than 30 years in the sewer rehabilitation sector, Streicher develops, produces and sells robots and systems for the inspection and rehabilitation of drainage networks, with ISO 9001 certification.
In the UV-cured CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) process, a liner impregnated with light-sensitive resin is installed inside the damaged pipe and inflated with compressed air. The SK600 travels through the liner at a controlled speed and cures the resin using its 8 x 600 W UV lamps, arranged in 2 segments. Three infrared sensors measure the liner surface temperature at different points, and an additional sensor measures the air temperature inside the liner, enabling real-time monitoring of the curing process.
The train fits circular pipes from DN150 to DN600 (6" to 24") and egg-shaped profiles from 200/300 to 500/750 mm (7.9"/11.8" to 19.7"/29.5"). Flexible connecting elements allow it to travel through the pipe, and its rotating lamp cages in a helical arrangement minimize shadowing on the liner. Two cameras with self-leveling mounts and active cooling allow the process to be monitored, while Teflon wheels protect the liner surface and prevent resin particles from sticking. For short sections, a single segment can be used.
The SK600 is part of Streicher's UV curing system, which includes the blower to maintain internal liner pressure, the UV cable drum with control to regulate pulling speed, and stainless steel packers to seal the liner ends. The system can be integrated into rehabilitation vehicles configured by the manufacturer.
