Data Logger Sofrel LS-P

The SOFREL LS-P is an IoT data logger for pressure measurement in drinking water networks, manufactured by LACROIX under the SOFREL brand, which specializes in remote management and monitoring solutions for water networks. It belongs to the SOFREL DL4W 4G LPWAN data logger range, designed for continuous monitoring of isolated sites and underground chambers in water networks.

The LS-P provides 2 analog inputs that power and read SOFREL pressure sensors, enabling 2 pressure points to be monitored simultaneously. It stores up to 100,000 data points locally and transmits them over 2G/4G M2M cellular networks (LTE-M and NB-IoT) to the utility's SCADA system, with daily data logger synchronization; if the 4G LPWAN network is unavailable, it automatically switches to 2G to ensure data delivery. It can also send SMS alerts on threshold violations or sensor faults, depending on mobile operator activation.

Its enclosure features enhanced IP68 waterproofing, verified by an independent laboratory through 30-day immersion tests under 4 m (13.1 ft) of water, and a military-grade waterproof connector. It runs on a lithium battery and provides up to 12 years of battery life with 2 measurements every 15 minutes and one daily SCADA communication. For chambers with limited cellular coverage, it is available with the FLEX antenna option: a 4 m (13.1 ft) external antenna with IP68 certification.

The LS-P integrates with industrial supervisory systems and third-party applications used by water operators, and simplifies data use through the SOFREL WEB LS IoT platform. It also communicates in inter-station mode with SOFREL S500, S4W and AS remote telemetry units (RTUs), periodically or on events. It is configured in the field via Bluetooth.
