SOFREL LS-P

The SOFREL LS-P is an IoT data logger specialized in pressure monitoring, manufactured by LACROIX Environment under its SOFREL brand, a French company with a long track record in telemetry and drinking water and wastewater network management. It belongs to the SOFREL DL4W range of loggers, widely adopted by water utilities around the world.

Its operating principle is based on 2 analog inputs (AI) intended for remote powering of SOFREL or third-party pressure sensors via a 4-20 mA loop at 12V or 20V. The unit collects information on the operation of pressure reducers, stabilizers and regulators and calculates the service quality level, transmitting data via a quad-band 2G/3G cellular chipset with an integrated high-performance antenna (with an optional 4-meter IP68-certified FLEX external antenna).

Unlike other loggers, the SOFREL LS-P stands out for its reinforced IP68 watertightness, certified for 200 days submerged under 2 meters of water, and for its screwless opening system that allows on-site access to the SIM card and battery without returning the unit to the factory. Local configuration and operation are carried out via Bluetooth, with visual LED diagnostics and a remaining battery life calculator.

The SOFREL LS-P is compatible with industrial supervisors and third-party applications from major water operators, and its data exploitation is simplified through the SOFREL WEB LS IoT platform. It also supports inter-site communication to S500, S4W or YDRIX stations, as well as SMS alerts on state changes, threshold exceedances or sensor faults.
